Three years ago, several School News Nationwide members visited the poor community of Bethel Town in Westmoreland, Jamaica. The team provided medical care to residents, repaired and painted the Bethel Town School, and initiated a Bethel Town community agricultural development project. After seeing the community’s need and desperation, we pledged to return and improve their school, build new roads, erect new and better housing for the poor, develop a 4,000 square yard playfield, construct a library to accommodate more than 100,000 books, provide a computer lab to accommodate 147 computers, and help the Bethel Town people to become self sufficient.

Please help us to raise the fund that’s needed to build this beautiful library.

Graciously yours,
Bill Tingling
